What does it take to build green businesses? That was the question that bubbled in my head when the silvery fish in the pond turned out to be an ugly piece of plastic, or when the ghost of a majestic tree made me feel uneasy as I stared at the age rings on its stump. I felt compelled to reach out to the people who are relentlessly working to turn the tide... and thus this book was born. This is not a typical book on entrepreneurship. I do not hand you a set of instructions on how to build green businesses. The reason being that I don't know how to build them. But my interviewees are building green businesses.
