It then discusses what happens when things go wrong with breach of contract by the owner and/or the contractor. Several chapters are then devoted to statutory remedies-mechanics' liens, stop notices, and bonds both on public and private works. Finally, coverage is provided on other issues and subjects involving the construction industry, including expanding liability, home improvement contracts, bankruptcy, and alternative dispute resolution.
