Book Description

Based on the QCA Scheme of Work for science, these full-colour, large-format flipbooks contain a wide variety of full-colour photographs, illustrations and diagrams, which children will find both inspiring and informative. Each flipbook is accompanied by a black and white photocopiable book containing activity sheets, based on the flipbook pages, for the children. It also includes a CD-ROM which carries all the text and images that appear in the flipbook and the activity book. The CD-ROM allows the teacher the facility to carry out whole-class whiteboard activities. Each activity sheet in the photocopiable book has accompanying teacher's notes, which give ideas and advice on how to use the flipbook pages, key questions and information on how to make the most of the activity sheets with the children.
