The Little Horn's Big Lie!

Book Description

Have you ever listened to a preacher bring a sermon on the pre-tribulation rapture? How wonderful it will be when we are all caught up with Jesus just before everything breaks loose here on earth? What about the one that is preached on how and why the Sabbath was changed to Sunday and give a list of reasons; none of them found in the Bible. Then there is tithing? They make sure to let us know we demonstrate our obedience through paying our tithing and giving back to God/Yahweh, and when we do not, we can be cursed or not be blessed as we should. We cannot forget the sermon on the Gifts of God/Yahweh that are no longer for the church. These and other doctrinal views are commonly preached in the main stream Christian Churches today. They are based off opinion of men and are often argued with verses from the Bible that have been taken out of context. It is interesting that the evangelical churches today claim to take and read the Bible literally. They claim every word to be the inerrant word of God/Yahweh. Many of them treat the Bible as God/Yahweh, yet there is not a verse that can be found that says the Sabbath was changed to a Sunday, that the Saints will be raptured before the tribulation, or the church is to pay tithing. Nowhere will you find the Holy Spirit only gives just some of the gifts on the list to believers today. You will not find a verse that specifically tells you once you are saved you are always saved. Instead, you will find volumes of verses that contradict each of these false doctrines being preached. So, what does that say about our contemporary church today, the one that claims to take each word, statement, or verse literally, the very ones preaching about false teachers, teaching themselves, false doctrine?

Rise of the Little Horn

Book Description

President Donald Trump is a man of mystery and intrigue whose destiny remains veiled. Horizontal relationships, be they associates, friends or even family members, are essentially unaware of his true ambitions. Opinions of the "experts", political or otherwise, are of little value -- the blind leading the blind. Trump may have thin skin, but the real person lies beneath an impenetrable veneer. With thought-provoking eloquence, this book divests the man of his mask to uncover who or "what" he truly is. Thousands of years ago, prophets foretold of a coming ruler -- the Man of Sin, the Wicked One. Scripture provides a swath of knowledge detailing his life and character. Inside, the reader will discover an exhaustive treatment of the Bible's prophecies concerning this coming Evil One. With no stone left unturned, the conclusion is clear for those with eyes to see. Unequivocally, President Trump is, indeed, THE ANTICHRIST; the world ruler foretold in the Bible to bring about Armageddon. RISE OF THE LITTLE HORN is not a work of fiction. As the first horseman of The Apocalypse prepares his triumphal entry, a time of reckoning is fast-approaching. This is neither a drill...nor a dream. This is happening. Regardless of whether you choose to believe, your life will, in fact, change. The coming cosmic shift will be independent of your belief in its validity. While unbelief will not alter its course, it may alter yours. As scary as these times are -- fear not, there's hope. (Please note: This book is also available in a Larger Print edition for $18.95. Sometimes You Have to Lie

Book Description

In this inspiring biography, discover the true story of Harriet the Spy author Louise Fitzhugh -- and learn about the woman behind one of literature's most beloved heroines. Harriet the Spy, first published in 1964, has mesmerized generations of readers and launched a million diarists. Its beloved antiheroine, Harriet, is erratic, unsentimental, and endearing -- very much like the woman who created her, Louise Fitzhugh. Born in 1928, Fitzhugh was raised in segregated Memphis, but she soon escaped her cloistered world and headed for New York, where her expanded milieu stretched from the lesbian bars of Greenwich Village to the art world of postwar Europe, and her circle of friends included members of the avant-garde like Maurice Sendak and Lorraine Hansberry. Fitzhugh's novels, written in an era of political defiance, are full of resistance: to authority, to conformity, and even -- radically, for a children's author -- to make-believe. As a children's author and a lesbian, Fitzhugh was often pressured to disguise her true nature. Sometimes You Have to Lie tells the story of her hidden life and of the creation of her masterpiece, which remains long after her death as a testament to the complicated relationship between truth, secrecy, and individualism.

Satan the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet

Book Description

Anti-Christ Defined I feel that it is important to understanding Satan that we define just what is meant by the word anti-Christ. The word Christ is obvious, it refers to the Savior, the son of God, the God of Creation. The English word anti means, to be against, or in opposition to. The problem is that the word anti as used in the Bible is Greek in its origin, and therefore has a definition with more meaning than the English word. In the Bible Concordance anti-Christos, is defined as: False Christ, Substitute for Christ, Opposite of, reverse, neutralizing, antagonistic. Therefore, the anti-Christ is someone or something that makes you think they are Christ, through false representation, and substitution. This can be illustrated in the Bible with the following verses. The purpose of this book is to reveal Gods True Word, to all who seek to know Gods Truth.

Jesus the Bridegroom

Book Description

Did Jesus claim to be the "bridegroom"? If so, what did he mean by this claim? When Jesus says that the wedding guests should not fast "while the bridegroom is with them" (Mark 2:19), he is claiming to be a bridegroom by intentionally alluding to a rich tradition from the Hebrew Bible. By eating and drinking with "tax collectors and other sinners," Jesus was inviting people to join him in celebrating the eschatological banquet. While there is no single text in the Hebrew Bible or the literature of the Second Temple Period which states the "messiah is like a bridegroom," the elements for such a claim are present in several texts in Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Hosea. By claiming that his ministry was an ongoing wedding celebration he signaled the end of the Exile and the restoration of Israel to her position as the Lord's beloved wife. This book argues that Jesus combined the tradition of an eschatological banquet with a marriage metaphor in order to describe the end of the Exile as a wedding banquet.
