As one can surmise from the title, the following book is a biography of Oliver Goldsmith written by E. S. Lang Buckland. Goldsmith was an Anglo-Irish novelist, playwright, dramatist and poet. He is best known today for his novel 'The Vicar of Wakefield', his pastoral poem 'The Deserted Village', and his plays 'The Good-Natur'd Man' and 'She Stoops to Conquer'.
