Robert Middleton (ca. 1651-ca. 1708) was probably born in Virginia. He married Mary Wheeler (1658-1702) in Charles County, Maryland, ca. 1672. They had eight children. He died in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Descendants of his son, William Middleton (ca. 1685-1769?), lived in Maryland, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, and elswhere. The Middleton-Neblett connection was in Texas.
