EC note: These Regulations implement Directive (EU) 2017/828 amending Directive 2007/36/EC as regards the encouragement of long term shareholder engagement by institutions for occupational retirement provision (OJ No. L 132, 20.05.2017, p.1). They do so by amending the Occupational Pension Schemes (Investment) Regulations 2005 (S.I. 2005/3378), the Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2013 (S.I. 2013/2734), and the Pension Protection Fund (Pensionable Service) and Occupational Pension Schemes (Investment and Disclosure) (Amendment and Modification) Regulations 2018 (S.I. 2018/988).
