When their father runs out on them, siblings Chase, Noelle, and Ethan move with their mother, Heather, a failed writer, to Cannon Beach, Oregon. There, they stay at the beach house of their mother’s old friend Kristie, who has two children their age, Morgan and Misty. At first, Chase and his siblings are happy with a change of scenery and make themselves at home at Kristie’s beach house—even if it does seem a little haunted. Chase is especially glad to be spending time with Morgan, his old childhood friend who has grown up to be a hottie with a motorcycle.
