Jean Panetier (d.1717) immigrated from France to Manakin Town, Virginia and his name was anglicized to John Pankey. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere.




The Largin Legacy


Book Description

Thomas Largin (1803-1886) was born in North Carolina and married Rachael Martha Sansom (1811-1870). They migrated to Tennessee where thirteen children were born. They later migrated to Alabama where they spent the remainder of their lives. Descendants live in Texas and other parts of the United States.




Samuel Spencer of Virginia


Book Description

Samuel Spencer was born before 1712 and resided in Goochland County, Virginia as early as 1728. He married Frances Westbrook in about 1743 and they had five children. He died in about 1765. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee and Ohio.
