We have been seriously handicapped by being compelled by unusual circumstances, to await the beginning of the work of editing the annual until late in the year, though we make no apology for that. While it has been a laborious task to compile the book, it has indeed been a pleasant one, and it is the earnest hope of the editors that those who read it may have imbued again into their very beings, the spirit of the dear old Poly.
