William Sabin settled in Rehoboth, Massachusetts where he died in 1687. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Vermont, New York, Ohio, South Dakota, California, Wyoming, Wisconsin, and elsewhere. One of his descendants, Samuel Wells Sabin (1861-1936), born in Windsor, Wisconsin, married Ernestine Sophia Espenett (1863-1949). Espenett ancestry traced to Samuel Espenett (1754-1840) of Tenterden, Kent, England, son of David Espenett, born in 1712 in Port D'Envaux, France. Descendants lived in Ohio, California, Australia, and elsewhere.
