They were attended through out by very crowded audiences; and many who sought to hear them, were not able to find seats, and were obliged to retire. The favor with which they were received, and the anxiety expressed by many at a distance to see them, have led to the conclusion, that the publication of them might perhaps contribute to the promotion of truth, and to the awakening of Christians to an appreciation of their responsibilities and their privileges in this eventful day.
