Their natural selves. What others may even consider to be their dirty, and unworthy selves. By the end of the book, it is Charletta's hope that you have released yourself from the bias of societies standards, and embraced your true self. The you that holds the testimony someone else needs to hear. Charletta is the proud mother of 7, and is the founder of a non profit: Cover My Sisters. Having been through so much in life, she knew that her story had to be told. She wrote No MakeUp, her debut book, as a means to encourage other women to share their testimonies, and embrace their truth.
