The Directors shall have power to supply any vacancies that may occur in their own Board, or in the officers of the Society, till the next annual meeting. Art. XVI. No alteration of this Constitution shall be made, except on recommendation of the Directors, and by vote of three-fourths of the members present, at an annual meeting; or unless the proposed alteration shall have been submitted to the Society, in writing, at a previous meeting.
