As they have long been out of print, they are now brought together and republished in a volume for the greater conven ience of those who take an interest in the town. The titlepages have been somewhat shortened, but the several inscriptions or dedications have been allowed to remain. The Address of July Fourth, 1876, was given in the First Parish Meeting-house; and the other two Addresses were made in the Town Hall. The Archives, often quoted as authority for state ments in the text, are the Massachusetts Archives found at the State House.
