"The Tijuana Oceanographic Engineering Study was conducted between May 1986 and August 1987 to support the design for a proposed South Bay wastewater treatment facility and ocean outfall. Portions of the study included a 15-month oceanographic and marine biological measurement program, ocean current modeling, land and marine geotechnical investigations, engineering evaluations including land and ocean outfall alignment evaluations and an ocean outfall length assessment, a bacterial disappearance investigation, and an environmental resources analysis."--Abstract (page A-2).
