Topeka Shiner (Notropis Topeka) Population Status and Habitat Conditions in South Dakota Streams

Book Description

All of the maps and reports that constitute the summary of research done during the "South Dakota Topeka Shiner Research Study" are included on this CD in two folders labeled "Report" and "TS_GIS." The species was once common in streams of six north central states (SD, MN, IA, NB, KA, MO), but more information was needed to determine its current status in South Dakota. The field and lab work began in the spring of 1999 and were completed on April 30, 2001.
