Thank you for the purchase of "Tempting Recipes" from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Port St. Joe, Florida. It is a combination of a Parish cookbook incorporationg Catholic liturgical feasts and holy days as well as recipes, past and present from our culturally diverse parish members. It has over 300 wonderfully delicious recipes. All procedes go to the Family Life Ministry of St. Joseph's Catholic Church which assists families throughout our community. Whether it is a meal for a family dealing with illness or death, or a ride to a doctor's office, we attempt to bear witness to our faith by being "Christ among us". Take note of each divider picture which is one of the many beautiful stained glass windows located in St. JOseph's Church dipicting a scene from the Bible. Each window was donated by a Parish family or member in memory of a family member or loved one. The round stained glass window dipicting the Chalice and Host located above the alter was donated by St. Sylvester.s Catholic Church, a sister Church in Brooklyn, New York, in 1957. We hope you enjoy the recipes as well as learn a little something about our Catholic Faith.
