Book Description

Numbered certificate issued in recognition of donation towards the restoration of the Old Congational Church Manse in the grounds of the Southern Districts War Memorial Hospital, McLaren Vale, South Australia. The certificate includes a nail taken from the Manse. The Manse was built in 1865, and has been occupied by a number of tennants, until the 1970s when it became in need of restoration work. In 1993 the building was gutted by fire, and nails were collected from the Manse.
