BEING STRONG IN THE LORD

Book Description

Being Strong in the Lord explains that for you to withstand the plans and intents of the devil, you have to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His Might. And you will see the offensive and the defensive weapons that the Lord has provided for us, in order that we may be strong in Him. Our obligations to contend earnestly for the true faith, to take the Gospel to the end of earth, and to fulfil whatever ministry the Lord has given us, need that we be strong in the Lord, for weak and fearful men will not fulfil the Purpose of God.

ORDERLINESS AND DISORDERLINESS

Book Description

Orderliness refers to the fact of having a regular, proper, and systematic arrangement. It is the quality of being in a good order. Orderliness is being in an ordered manner. An orderly thing can be by virtue of being methodical and well organized. God likes and cherishes orderliness and doing things orderly. The Word of God says, "Let all things be done decently and in order" (1 Cor. 14:40). In manner, behaviour, and actions, orderliness has to do with obedience to the Word of God. Disobedience is disorderliness. When God sent King Saul on a mission to annihilate the Amalekites and their livestock, he obeyed; but his obedience was partial obedience, which God counted as disobedience. And his story is a pathetic story, because he might have done what he did with good intentions. But what is good in disobeying God's Word, Command, and Instructions? He was disorderly and disobedient before the Almighty. There should be orderliness in the church, in the family, in the society, etc.

THERE IS POWER IN PRAISE

Book Description

God is fearful in praises; and there is great power in praise! If you have done all you know to do without success, use the weapon of praise, and the result you will get will blow your mind! A classic example of the power of praise is when the people of Moab, Ammon, and Mount Seir came to battle with Jehoshaphat, king of Judah. The Lord fought for them, as they sang and praised. But I want you to notice that it was not praises alone that secured the victory for them. Firstly, they fasted; secondly, they prayed; thirdly, they believed God; fourthly, they appointed holy and sanctified people to offer praises; and fifthly, they sang and praised.
