This standard specifies the dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, test method, inspection rules, packing, marking and quality certificate of straight seam welded steel pipe for low pressure liquid delivery. This standard applies to straight seam welded steel pipe used for the delivery of low pressure liquid such as water, sewage, combustion gas, air and heating steam as well as for other structures. In this standard, the different requirements for the resistance welded steel pipe and the submerged arc-welded steel pipe have been marked clearly, the unmarked ones apply to both the resistance welded steel pipe and the submerged arc-welded steel pipe.
