Bledsoe County, Tennessee Circuit Court Minute Book, 1834-1841

Book Description

This publication provides a comprehensive collection of court records from 1834 to 1841 for Bledsoe County, Tennessee, with the original full-name index which refers to the page number in the original document. "The WPA Records are, for the most part, carbon copies of the original that was typed on onion skin paper during the Depression. Since these records were typed on poor machines by people who did not type well either or read by persons not always sure of the older handwritten material, the results are often less than perfect. ... Sometimes there are water stains and burned edges around the paper."
