Sport Fish and Wildlife Resoration

Book Description

Truly exciting times are upon the Federal Assistance Program by any historical measure. The first half of Fiscal Year 2003 began with a move of the Washington Office headquarters to a new home. In addition to moving to new office space, the Program is also moving to new leadership. The Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Programs Improvement Act of 2000 provided for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to create the position of the Assistant Director-Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration. This action by the Service sends a clear signal that the Service is further emphasizing the importance of strengthening its relationship with States by providing additional recognition to the Sport Fish Restoration and Wildlife Restoration Programs.
