William Wells (1605-1672) immigrated (probably from England) to Southold, Long Island, New York and married twice (with children by each wife). Descendants and relatives are listed (1) descendants (bloodline descendants in upper case) listed alphabetically by surname, then by given name; (2) descendants, listed chronologically by surname, then given name; (3) descendants and spouses who served the cause in the Revolutionary War; and (4) children of bloodline descendants who died prior to maturity.
