Book Description

Field notes Vol. 782 contains a list of Hepaticae specimens collected in Hawaii by various collectors. The notebook was included with Henry Whittier's specimen donation to the New York Botanical Garden. It may contain information on specimens in the herbarium of the Bernice P. Bishop Museum, possibly notes for Whittier's publication of 1960 entitled "An illustrated survey of the Hawaiian Hepaticae found in the herbarium of the Bernice P. Bishop Museum."
