The frontispiece map shows the 1971 annual distribution of precipitation over the Basin. The index map following page 15 shows the station locations, and Tables 1 through 10 on pages 21 to 59 show precipitation for stations listed in upstream order. Monthly precipitation in the Basin was above the 7 5-year mean during seven months of the year with March, April, June, August, and November having totals below the mean.
