Excerpt from Sixth Annual Report of the Board of Directors of City Trusts: Report for the Year 1875 A second Jury of View was appointed by the C0urt of Common Pleas to consider the expediency of open ing Girard avenue through the College grounds, the first jury having been equally divided on it, although they reported against opening Twenty-second street. The second jury, composed of most intelligent and honorable citizens, reported against Opening Girard avenue, to which report exceptions were taken. If the report of the jury is sustained, the Directors hope they will not be further hindered in the erection of additional buildings.
