This publication reviews the state of the metals/minerals and related equipment and services sector in Canada, its expertise in the international market, the international context of the sector, and the main challenges to Canadian companies interested in entering the international market. The publication is arranged in four parts that cover the following: exploration, mining, and production of base metals and minerals; the steel industry; the aluminium industry; and producers of related equipment, services, and technology.
